Kim Vredeveld

Kim studied Visual Arts through the Newcastle Art School, Ourimbah Camus 2011-2013 where on completion she began a Mentorship working with a local sculptor.  It was during her mentorship she developed a connection with clay and in 2014 became a member of EBACC, attending Pottery classes on Monday mornings with Katherine Baker.

In 2016 Kim enrolled in the Diploma of Ceramics, Hornsby Tafe and in the Summer of 2017 attended the Study Abroad Program in Contemporary Art at Central Saint Martins College, London.  On return home Kim exhibited in a group ceramics show at M2 Gallery, Sydney and had work selected by Sculptures in the Garden, Mudgee, with the 5 Strings Collaborative.  Kim’s passion is experimenting with form, both sculptural and functional, handbuilt and wheel thrown.  Inspired by ancient and modern art and the natural beauty of the Central Coast.
