Danni Liu

Danni has been interested in the visual arts since primary school.  She started to enjoy watercolours specifically in 2013 and became more serious in 2016.  She is a member of various local watercolour and art societies (Central Coast Watercolour Society, Central Coast Art Society, Ku Ring Gai Art Society) and she frequently exhibits her paintings on the Central Coast in various exhibitions and competitions.  Danni enjoys painting various subjects, from animals to portraits as well as flowers, landscapes and cityscapes.  She is the winner of numerous local awards and has exhibited internationally for several years.

Initially Danni was self-taught when learning the basics of watercolours.  However, she has since attended workshops organised by the local societies with well-known Australian watercolourists, such as Chan Dissanayake and Herman Pekel.  She has also learnt through online lessons with international masters Liu Yi, Rick Huang and Michelle Lin.

Danni has been sharing her passion through demonstrations, workshops and private lessons since 2018.  She is very generous with her time and knowledge and is keen to help her students enjoy the wonders of watercolours!
