As well as offering classes that run every week for a 9-week term EBACC offers a variety of workshops. Workshops usually run at the weekends and last for one, two or three weeks depending on the topic.
Workshops provide a great opportunity for students who have other commitments during the week to attend and they also offer students an opportunity to try something new without committing to a full 9-week term. Some topics are more suitable to a short workshop format as once the basic skills are acquired students are able to improve their expertise by practising on their own.
In recent years EBACC has offered many workshops including:
- Free Form Crochet
- Rug Hooking
- Fabric Colouring
- Making Organza Flowers
- Making Clay Jewellery
- Glazing Techniques
- Functional Art Glass
The following workshops are confirmed. Click on the links to find out more:
- Elements and Principles of Design – for those who have already attended the Introduction class: Originally planned for Saturday 1st July 2017. Now postponed to run later in the year. Watch this space for updates!
- Introduction to Design: Saturday 12th August 2017
- Quilting with Decorative Stitches with Pam Furniss: Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th November 2017 – CLASS FULL
PLEASE NOTE: To ensure that we know we have enough students to run a workshop please register at least 10 days before the workshop. If we have insufficient registrations 10 days before a planned workshop we will probably have to cancel the workshop.
